Communications Gateways:

VersaCloud M2M enabled IIOT gateways provide an interface and network / communications translation from other controllers and devices using standard communications and networks including Modbus TCP over Ethernet and Wi-Fi, Modbus Master/Slave over serial and CAN networks including SAEJ1939 and NMEA 2000. The gateways support limited or no analog / digital I/O (see specific model specifications for details) and program with ladder diagram, function block and structured text programming using Divelbiss EZ LADDER® Toolkit.

VersaCloud M2M enabled IIOT gateways communicate to and from your exclusive cloud portal using wired Ethernet, WI-FI or Cellular Data (nationwide cellular data coverage provided by Divelbiss Corporation). The gateways update and store the data on the cloud and can receive data from the cloud portal.

In addition to VersaCloud M2M enabled Programmable Communications Gateways, VersaCloud M2M enabled IIOT Programmable Logic Controllers are available.

Local Communications & Networking:

Programmable Communications Gateways that are VersaCloud M2M enabled can communicate to local external equipment and devices using any network supported by the gateway (such as Modbus TCP, Modbus Slave, Modbus Master, J1939 and NMEA 2000) using supported interfaces (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, RS232 Serial, RS485 Serial, Controller Area Network (CAN).

Remote Communications & Control:

For VersaCloud M2M remote monitoring, reporting and control capabilities (ie: not locally connected or on the same internal plant network), the Programmable Communications Gateway must be used with Divelbiss VersaCloud M2M Portal Services. VersaCloud M2M Portals and Telematics are available in cost-effective plans and are supported nationwide. VersaCloud M2M remote communications from the gateway to the VersaCloud M2M Portal is possible using the device's supported interfaces (Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Cellular Data Modem).

Communicates to the VersaCloud M2M portal (IOT).
