The ICM-IO-C21 P-Series Bear Bones Digital I/O Expansion Board is an open-board I/O expansion board for the P-Series Bear Bones controller family. Each expander connects to the P-Series Bear Bones controller's (ICM-BB-P13-XX) I/O port using the included communication cable which provides the logic power and communications. Additionally, the ICM-IO-C21 Expansion Board is compatible with any OptiCAN enabled Programmable Logic Controller (PLC on a Chipâ„¢ based controllers).

The ICM-IO-C21 expands the I/O capabilitiy of the controller by adding an additional 8 Digital Inputs rated 90-130VAC and 8 Digital Outputs rated 2 Amps (90-130VAC). Each controller can be expanded with up to 31 ICM-IO-CXX expanders regardless of I/O type (AC or DC) and are configured by on-board switches for addressing.

The ICM-PUI-01 is an open-board, plug-in, specialty function expansion board for the P-Series Bear Bones Controllers. This expansion board utilizes the specialty expansion connectors on the P-Series Bear Bones Controllers and provides functionality as either digtal and analog I/O as dip switches, LED indicators and potentiometers that may be accessed in the controller's ladder diagram program. It may also be configured to operate as an Timer card for the same functionality as the legacy Bear Bones controller's (ICM-TM-01, ICM-TM-02 or ICM-TM-03) Timer Cub expanders.

The ICM-PUI-01 may be used to provide easy to access adjustable timers for a machine operator to adjust timing or setup parameters when used as a timer or the on-board switches, LED and potentiometers may be access in the program allow them to function as any configurable item to the machine operator.

The VersaCloud P-Series Bear Bones Expansion Board model ICM-BBP13EXP-C-X-X is an expansion board and interface that provides communications solutions for the P-Series Bear Bones Programmable Logic Controller Series (ICM-BB-P13-XX) and connected equipment.

The ICM-BBP13EXP-C-X-X provides a Cellular Data Modem. When utilized with VersaCloud M2M, the P-Series Bear Bones PLC (using the expansion board) communicates to the VersaCloud M2M portal using the Cellular Data Modem. Ethernet Communication to the VersaCloud M2M portal may be utilized if P-Series Bear Bones Controller supports Ethernet (ICM-BB-P13-30 / ICM-BB-P13-40 models).

The ICM-BBP13EXP-C-X-X expansion board includes 512K of SRAM (Static RAM, Battery Backed-up RAM) that is accessed using Structured Text and may be used for data storage for data logging.
